This work depicts a long exposure photograph taken at the salt flats of Uyuni, Bolivia, showing the re-entry of Chinese rocket ‘Long March’, set against the background of the Magellanic clouds 163,000 light years from earth. The flight path of the rocket is reflected in the mirror like surface of the lake.
